In this interview with Kaya, she talks about the Freddie and Effy relationship a lot. She says that they are “the dream couple” of Skins and that Effy doesn’t see much of Cook this year. However, she also predicts that Effy will be isolated from everyone at the end of series 4. When this interview was conducted, Kaya hadn’t actually read the final episodes yet. “Madly in love, but it’s short lived”
Yet another Luke & Kaya interview. Watch at the 2:20 mark, they talk about how Effy and Freddie are in love at the beginning of series 4, but this happiness doesn’t seem to last long. Specifically they say “it’s short lived.” We’re getting a little scared now…
Okay. It’s not that we didn’t like 4×01. It’s just that on the Luke-o-meter this episode gets a 1/10. Some of us found it a bit disappointing. But that’s just because the writers are saving the best for last, RIGHT???
We’re not at all worried. Based on what Luke and Kaya have said in interviews we know that this is going to be one amazing season for our two favourites. Even in this most recent interview, Kaya refers to her storyline as “Effy and Freddie’s storyline” and Luke says that Freddie is “madly in love with Effy.”
It’s just that Freddie’s episode seems sooo far away. We are sick and tired of this waiting thing! But now Effy is back, and she will hopefully see Freddie for the first time in this Thursday’s episode. Let’s just fast forward through the rest of the week, mmk?
